Silk and Silky is a story of people and places,
shaped by a life spent with carpets.
Over the years, our stores in different parts of the world have brought us into conversation with people choosing something special for their homes. Those conversations, and the relationships behind them, have shaped the way we work.
Today, we bring that same care to our established Montenegro business and our new chapter in Sarasota. We work with Oriental, Persian and other luxury carpets, but our starting point is always personal: getting to know the person who will live with the piece.

Behind Silk and Silky is Seljuk, who has devoted his life to fine carpets.
For more than two decades, he has worked with carpets, built stores and formed lasting relationships in different parts of the world. His knowledge comes from that daily involvement: understanding the pieces, knowing the people behind them, and helping clients choose.
That experience stays close to every conversation at Silk and Silky. We can look at a carpet together, talk through its materials and character, and explain what makes it worth a closer look. The aim is to help you make a choice you understand and feel comfortable with.
